SR_Neale 10 Posted October 29, 2015 I am about to change the clocks in my 92 G60. What do I have to do with regards to mileage as the new clocks will have a different mileage showing? All help appreciated. Cheers
Jim 2 Posted October 29, 2015 Apparently the only legal requirement is to make any new owner of the car (assuming you ever sell it!) aware of the mileage change. You could also look into a mileage correction service though to put the mileage to what it should be - given the age and simplicity of the Corrado clocks, I'm sure it'd be quite trivial for most companies to do? SR_Neale 10 Posted October 29, 2015 Cheers jim. I doubt I'll bother getting it corrected if it's not a legal requirement plus I don't actually know what the mileage should be anyway. Wasn't working when I bought it and have put a fair few miles on it since. Will keep old clocks so IF I sell her I have some sort of proof if that makes sence. marks2 0 Posted October 29, 2015 Another point to consider is at MOT time the mileage will be recorded. Personally I'd have the mileage set to the original esp if the mileage on the new clocks is less than on the old. BTW - Is that a MK1 SR in your Avatar? One regret I have is selling my MK1 GTE. SR_Neale 10 Posted October 29, 2015 No it's a zafira gsi. 2l turbo it's a lot of fun and people don't like getting whopped from the lights by a 7 seater lol.
