No power to instrument cluster

Hi all,

 

I have recently rebuilt my VR6 engine and yesterday when we attempted to start the engine for the first time the instrument cluster lit up and switched on as normal. I do get backlighting when I throw the light switch, that is all.

 

Today however I have nothing, what are the wire colours and fuse locations for the instrument cluster?

 

My fuel pump is not priming either and I would assume these problems must be linked....maybe from the ignition switch area?

The cables in my hand come from the instrument cluster, are these meant to plug in somewhere?
