8v lumpy idle when cold

Recommended Posts

I know you did David which is why I'm thinking it can't be that.

Will whip out the plus again but they looked okay and only minor dark marks on them only a week or so ago and they were new last year.

What would happen to the plugs if a gasket had gone?

Do they go dirty or clean?

Never had running issues like this which is amazing considering how many Corrado's we've had.

The only thing i can think is that with my 1st 16v it was lumpy on cold start as one of the injectors was spraying badly this not shutting off and leaking fuel into the cylinder which was fine once fuel wad pumping back into it.

Hmmm

Well it's got to the point when is Awfully smelling in the morning and taking a good 2 mins to clear.

I'm thinking injectors as they must be quite worn now.

Any ideas where to get them for an 8v? Thanks.

Well was convinced it was a leaky injector as the plugs were quite recent, turned out to be a spark plug that had actually cracked :( lord knows how but replaced them all again and all seems well so far, see how it goes when the colder weather arrives :)
