Jim 2 Posted June 6, 2016 Visited the most excellent Coventry Motofest this weekend. Whilst there I got chatting to a guy who came up to chat about Corrado's. He was very good friends with a man named Tim Fry who designed both the Hillman Imp, and the Hillman Avenger. He owned the car right up until his death aged 68, back in 2004. The chap said that Tim "knew a good car when he saw one, and he loved his Corrado". He ended up moving the car on, on his behalf after his death, and it was sold at auction. Be interesting to know whatever happened to it. More information on the man available here: http://www.imps4ever.info/algemeen/fry.html Would have loved the chance to talk to him and learn more about what appealed to him, from an engineers point of view as he must have appreciated the car in different ways to most of us :)
