hubs are gona be £££££ you dont have to use a press, they will knock in with a hammy and big socket

if you have a spare car...run the new bearings and your old hubs to a garage, most guys will push em in for a drink

DO NOT try and push front bearings in with a hammer... you will end up screwing up the hub and the new bearing 'cos you'll not get it in square...

You may manage to get it in so it looks square, but it won't last very long and is generally not a good idea.... Getting a local mechanic a few beers in is definately the best way of doing it... ;) :D

rears you can tap in with the hammer and socket method with no problems... it's only the fronts that need the 20 ton press! :?

Better to use a hammer & the old bearings to knock the new ones in with.

as long as you knock them all the way in they should be square as they butt up to a shoulder on the hub if I remember correctly
