Brembo Upgrade - Spongy brakes

Sorry for being a numpty here, but what does that do?

 

The compensator adjusts the pressure to the rear calipers to account for additional weight in the car. Look under your passenger wheel; you will see it attached between the rear beam and mount. Most are seized!

So is the symptoms i have a common one for the compensator being seized. Wheres best place to get replacement from?

Before condemning it i'd check it's free to move. There are few threads on this topic if you search.
