Advise please - what speakers/amp/headunit

I'm looking to upgrade the rado's audio as it's pretty pants, just wondering w hi at others are running and how good they find it.

 

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go for a selection of the JBL GTO range, a older alpine IDA-x100 HU (had before and really liked it) and a Sony xmn1004 4 channel amp, but before I hit buy it now button, just wondered if anyone has any better suggestions.

 

Im also after neat aubwoofer install ideas. Nothing larger, 8"/10" preferably
