Rear Quarter Cards - compatibility

Hi folks. I recently bought a set of four black leather cards for my late VR6. Like a giddy kipper I didn't realise the cards were the early version - the ones with the hole for the electric window switch.

 

My question is: did the rear quarter cards change from early to late spec? I think the late spec part number is 535867035A but I can't see the number anywhere on my cards to check what I have.

 

Basically I'm wondering if I can salvage something and still use the rear cards. The front ones won't work and I'll need late spec ones.
