Which B Pillar Trim

I've bought what I thought was the right replacement B pillar trim. Part number 535867285B. I haven't yet removed the existing trim but I've now seen there's a "C" version of the B pillar trim. (ie 535867285C)

 

Does anyone know what the difference between the B and C versions is? And which is right for a late VR6? I don't want to remove the current one just to take a look because B pillar trim is a fiddly job and I'll probably break it!
