So when we pulled up at his house ,i popped the bonet it was only clear he had bypassed the matrix and join the two hose's together !! :) Anyway i've price the part's up (£33 gsf) but is it a bugger of a job to replace, has anyone encountered any major prob's doing this ? Roger Blassberg 0 Posted July 26, 2004 It's a dash-out job - or at least it had better be; I've just paid for 8 hours labour to get mine done!! Best wishes RB
Henny 0 Posted July 26, 2004 apparently it is possible to do it without taking the dash out, but it's a lot easier, safer and less likely to break anything else doing it the old method by taking the dash out.... :|
scruffydubbers 0 Posted July 26, 2004 i've don it with out taking the dash out, pain in the arse tho. i took all the panels off the dash i could then removed a metal surport behind the dash then took the bolts off on the bulk head, which hold the matrix housing. then removed all the plastic heater blower and housing then took the matrix out and swaped it. took a good couple of hours.
