King_prawn 0 Posted August 2, 2004 O K I fitted the FK Konigsport shocks and new top mounts to my G60 but when you push down on the body it looks like the rubber doughnut/top mount is flexing quite a bit. This is allowing the top plate etc to move up and down as well. Is this normal? my old ones never did it. Ive taken it for a drive and the ride seems ok. When I fitted the top mounts i fitted them so the bearing is in contact with the top spring cup and then used the special nut from the old shock to hold it on there. Is this right? It seemed logical as this is how the old shock was assembled. Also can anyone give me the part numer for the rear axle bush?
