swfblade 0 Posted August 5, 2004 The fuse for my fog lights went last nite, so i went to get some more, fitted and it blew again straight away. Any ideas?
Henny 0 Posted August 6, 2004 turn 'em off, put a new fuse in, turn on the fronts only and see if it blows, if it doesn't turn on the rears too and see if it blows then... which ever one it blows on, the odds are that one of your bulbs has blown and shorted out so it's blowing the fuse... Unless it's blowing the fuse with them switched off, in which case you've got either a broken switch or some dodgy/broken wires... :|
swfblade 0 Posted August 6, 2004 thnx henny m8, its blowing as soon as i switch onto front fogs. Its not blowing without them on. I'll check the bulbs l8r. 8)
swfblade 0 Posted August 6, 2004 ok, next question, How do i get into the fog lights to check the bulb?!? I'll do a forum search for this as well, just in case its already here...
swfblade 0 Posted November 3, 2004 seeing as the other thread was locked, in reply to VR6 (on the other topic), I did do a search, but found nothing relavent. Seeing as nothing was replyed to this topic in 3 months, i figured i'd start a new one as it is also a slightly different subject. Its also not really anything to do with changing the bulbs, so didnt think it was relavent to that other topic either. gees, chill out guys! :joker2: In reply to henny, (on the other topic) I have taken the bulbs out and tried it, but it still blows the fuse, so im gonna have to get the old meter out and do some old fashioned fault checking i guess.....fun fun fun.....
