bigbroony 0 Posted August 11, 2004 Do any of you fine fellows know of anywhere in the North East that can straighten a bent alloy wheel?It's actually for my wife's Golf GTi.We would like to keep the car standard as it has been since 1990 and getting hold of anew one I feel would be prohibitively expensive.I've spotted acouple of sets and even a single one on Ebay but I try to avoid dealing with them.The wheel in question, in case anyone has one lying about is a 15" 6j cross spoke BBS as fitted to Golfs of that era. Supercharged 2 Posted August 11, 2004 It depends how bent it is, best to take it to a good tyre place for there opinion, there is a big risk of the alloy cracking when trying to straighten it, if its a standard BBS (not split rim) then eBay is your best bet...
