carpet colour

I've got a black 92 G60 with full leather interior from a Storm. At the moment the carpets are grey along with the trim at the a-pillars and such like. Also the headlining is grey. Could someone with a Storm tell me what colour their carpets, trim and headlining is? I would appreciate it alot as I want to compliment the leather with the correct colour of carpet etc. Cheers, Grim

i'm assuming its the black interior(from a mystic blue storm) that you have from a storm........then black dash/carpets/plastics are what you'll need(can't remember if it also has black headlining but grey would compliment it enough....afterall it isn't a storm you have :wink: so shouldn't really matter too much)

 

if its the beige leather interior(from a classic green storm) you have then its the black dash/beige carpets headlining and plastics you'll need

but as ive said you don't have a storm so you really don't need to go to the expense of doing it all

Doh! I thought the Storms had only the beige interior, my bad. I'll try to take some interior snaps and get them up here in a few days to get some opinions. The leather has seen better days and I'm trying too clean it up and get the vracks out of it cause i don't really want to retrim one of 250 interiors. Any suggestions on what to use. Currently using autoglym leather stuff. Cheers vr6storm.

also the beige and black leather interiors from either storm are pretty much identical to any other black or beige leather interior from most 93(M/Y onward)"leathered-up" Corrados....the only differences from a storm interior and a "leathered-up" Corrado is that the "storm" badge replaces the "karmann" badge on the centre console

BTW Very nice looking Corrado.... Give me a shout when you want to swap up to

a VR6 ! :wink: I'd spend some cash on the leather recolouring and a tasty set of

cream doorcards to match. Once done you could probably get hold of a cream

carpet at a show. Why dont you post more piccys up in the members section. I

want to see more of your car. Engine bay, interior etc. Always wanted a black C

with cream leather, and im missing my old G60 too.

Nice, I see you've got the door cards too. Well I've seen on ebay a few times the

cream plastics for sale. If you could get the black dash and carpets it would finish it off perfectly.
