Louie Lungbubble 0 Posted August 27, 2004 Was having a bit of a comedy problem recently with my windscreen wiper control arm. Dunno what was going on, but it took only the slightest touch to activate the washer jets. Hitting a bump, or even hard accelleration and BINGO! Super clean windscreen. Was starting to crack me up, but I trotted off to my local dealer who, after 5 hours labour finally sorted it for me. Louie Lungbubble 0 Posted August 27, 2004   Sorry. It's Friday, and I was getting a bit giddy. That's MY fix. D'ya reckon Corkhills VW would give me a start on the spanners if i showed them this mechanical masterpiece?
kvwloon 0 Posted August 27, 2004 Probably any VW stealer would! Think GSF do rubber bands cheaper BTW!

Louie Lungbubble 0 Posted August 28, 2004 As kvwloon, says, you can go down the economy route to fixing this problem via GSF, but I won't use anything other than genuine, OEM VW rubber bands on my baby ! :turn-l:
