HiAsAKite 0 Posted August 28, 2004 Driving along.. listening to the niice V6 purr as it comes on cam.. and before I know it the car fills up with steam spewing out from the dashboard and the drivers footwell (LHD car) fills up with hot cooloant... bypassed the heater matrix, dried out my immobiliser (which got soaked in the coolant spill... thanks for the heat gun PhilK!!).. now just need take carpets out and dry them and replace the heater matrix itself.. anyone done this before.. would really appreciate your advice since would like to do this myself and understand its a dashboard off job... Jim 2 Posted August 29, 2004 Should be able to sue VW for that really considering you could get 110 degree coolant blasting all over your legs... But anyway - try hitting the search mate.
