munkay 0 Posted August 30, 2004 One thing I have actually noticed about the MR2 is that it grips amazingly well. I fully expected it to be a liability but it puts power down seriously well. The one I got has traction control and an LSD which helps, but you would be surprised at handling. Just very different to the Corrado so kinda hard to compare :) Basically in the corrado you would go off the road nose first - with the mr2 it will be the other way. All good fun tho :)
Andi 2,147,483,647 Posted August 31, 2004 Well, just been playing it a bit more. There are some things I do like, but it isn't NFS: Underground... so my opinion? Worth a rent, but not a buy. Its just not as polished as NFS:U. And NFS:U2 will blow it out of the water. Here's a sound clip. Doesn't really do it justice, since it doesn't really sound that bad at idle. But its still a bit of a pants game - sorry guys! Though damage is good. I also like that the Neons are the first thing to get damaged ;) So in that sense, its worth buying to get a Corsa, mod it up, then crash it.
