MoonlightVR 0 Posted August 30, 2004 If you've got 800 quid to spend I'd suggest H&R coilovers. IMO the Rolls Royce of coilovers! Available from Motorsport Wheels (importer).
Joe M 0 Posted August 30, 2004 Konis from TSR, £699 and about £12 next day delivery. I was tempted by the H&R's but there only adjustable for height and not damping.

Think i'm right in saying those aren't damping adjustable. Thats important if you are fitting larger wheels as you may need to firm them up to avoid tyre rubbing issues. That's true Lee, but in that case you're tuning the suspension to the needs of your wheels, instead of to the needs of the car/chssis, which IMO is more important. It all boils down to if the aesthetics or dynamics are more important. H&Rs are not adjustable for damping as the kits are very specific to the model of car. The dampers are valved to match the springs, which are tailored to each application. IMO they've got it spot on and I don't feel need to adjust the damping. But that's just me! :)
yellowslc 0 Posted August 30, 2004 H&R has released a 9 way dampening adjustable coilover set. Inserts are made by bilstein with h&r's own spring rates. In addition, the bodies are stainless steel to resist corrosion. I forgot the exact name of them offhand. I have pss9's and love them. R
