mod chip for new golf 1.4 16v same as lupo sport??

a mate of mine has just bought a brand new golf 1.4 16v he used to have a lupo sport and they both seem to use the same engine.

does anyone know if he could get a chip for the golf anywhere or would the lupo sport mod chip work ??

he has had a look around for a chip but there dosnt seem to be one availiable yet for the new golf :?:
