Hi Everyone my name is Jules just thought I would come and introduce myself finally, been on and off the site looking at stuff over last few years can't actually remember if I joined years ago or not but I did a few months ago.....anyway I digress I met a top bloke at edition 38 on Sunday called Karl not sure of his last name but got a feeling I know who he is looking at some posts if he sees this hopefully he will be in touch hope you're ok mate.
I own a 1993 K plate Metallic Pearl Green LC6V VR6 I've had it since 2003 and it is almost family been thinking of selling and went to edition 38 just to see if anyone would look!! I have actually tonight put the car on pistonheads to see what response I get.
I totally agree with so many comments that people make about the cars when you live with one and drive it a lot that's when you realise just how good they are at most things must have been quite a revelation in 92 when the VR6 came out, the noise alone never fails to amaze me, the torque and linear power delivery and the steering feel and response sublime even for a 21 year old car.
My daily for 2 and a half years has been a nice Mk4 golf gttdi pd130 and I love it for so many reasons I've made it look like 'my' car with a few choice changes.
Will try and post some pics when i can suss it out please feel free to comment on my car good or bad I'll try and not get to defensive although firstly I would say the wheels have just had their 11th birthday and would/will be on my to do list if i keep the car...if it doesn't sell!
This seems like a good site with some good lads on here with like minded ideas and the understanding of how we feel about our cars, it's not a car it's a Corrado:cool:
