Alziboy

Hi guys + girls, I am currently stuck with what to try next to get this VR6 back onto the road. I have been working my way through a long list of issues and been helped a lot by people with parts however I am really struggling with the ABS system. I have had a faulty pump as there was no fluid coming out of the Rear drivers side calliper only, so I have sent this off to be checked and sure enough the ABS pump was toast and irreparable, so I have fitted another abs pump and still no fluid coming from the calliper. I have chased this all the way back to the pump and there seems to be a 13mm not on the line where as all the others only have an 11mm nut. When I disconnect and pump the brake fluid comes out of every other line apart from the one to the rear drivers side, I am now wondering if I am just that unlucky that I have had 2 pumps with exactly the same fault both times or is there something else I am over looking. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am located in S****horpe also if someone has VAG COM in the area that might be able to work the pump that would also be appreciated Thanks Alan

It's a purple one that I purchased on eBay a few weeks ago. It has been stood for 5 years so needless to say everything is seized on. So far I have removed and re fitted a new gearbox and clutch, Refurbished the front brakes and swapped the rears as they were seized solid. The suspension is what I am currently on with having removed the front already I have the rears still to do. It's parts that I really need to ensure that the engine runs properly as with no maf sensor it currently cuts out unless it's revved. My plan is to get it mechanically sound to get through a test and then starts the cosmetic side of the resto. I'll be putting up some pics later today.

I am looking for the following items to help me with my resto 1994 VR6 project. Bonnet 2 Doors in LC3U Complete Airbox including MAF and pipes to go to the inlet, The maf is a 5 pin Maf sensor. Bonnet release catch Under steering wheel plastic Thanks Alan

Hi Everyone, I am new to the VW scene however i have always liked the Corrado body style so recently decided to buy a VR6 and give it the love and attention it needs to become fully road worthy and restored again. The car i have purchased has been stood for 5 years so needless to say it needs a fair old bit of work to get her going again. I will post pictures up of the progress i am having however i want to be able to get this back to its former glory and already the parts bills are stacking up.
