Hmmm, think I'll probably leave the interior alone as I'll be after a quick sale, rather than top money. And, by the sound of it, it's quite a selling point.

Thanks for all the feeback. -Very useful. Good to know I won't have to give her away! :D

Sadly the time has come. Can anyone give me an idea of what I should be asking? -I realise that a high milage G60 is not a particularly attractive prospect, but it's not all bad! Details as follows: '92 G60 (on private plate -K4 GEO) 168,000 miles BBS Alloys Fulll Recaro leather int. (no significant damage) Car unmodified -apart from Fog lights replaced with stainless mesh. VAG history UP TO 100,000 -Lots of receipts. Everything works, owned by me for the last 7years. -There are a coupe of small dents -one on the drivers door, one below the rear light cluster. - She is also due a Supercharger O-haul -no problems at the moment though. See photos attached Thanks for your help

Thanks, Henny. I am looking to find one second hand, so rather than rely on the information I am given by the seller I would rather know exactly what I need before I buy. If you can recommend a good after-market source however, I would be interested. -I have checked GSF and they don't seem to list one. Cheers

Hello I need to replace the middle box on my facelifted G60. Can anyone tell me whether there is any variation or is it 'one size fits all' for G60's. Ta.

Hello I read in a previous post that the G60 distributor is the same as the 8v Golf (PB) part. Is this correct? Are they interchangable? Thanks

Got it, thanks. Just what I needed! Cheers.

Thankyou I'll check it out tonight. Cheers.

Thanks, Henny I'm still at tad confused though. My camshaft sprocket appears to have two dots (as you describe) and a single dot (also on the outside of the pulley) about 120 degrees offset from the pair of dots. So, (sorry to be pedantic) are you saying that at TDC (firing on No. 1) that the pair of dots should straddle the joint between the rocker cover and the head? Thanks again.

Hiya Can someone confirm the following - ('92 G60) 1 - No1 piston is at the timing belt end. 2 - At TDC the dot on the camshaft pulley should be lined up with the top edge of the inner cambelt cover (Aslo appears to be marked with a small ridge cast into the rocker cover). -I think my belt has slipped a couple of teeth but I don't want to change anything until I know for sure. Thanks
