Well it has ony taken me 4 months to get her back on the road, but back on the road she is and growling nicely. All parts supplied by g60knight - my eternal thanks to that man. Incidentally Fast Road Conversions who manufactured my exhaust and checked her out when running agaijn, identifed a faulty HT lead which was causing a misfire, fuel igniting in the manifoild which made her run hot and ultimately ignited the air intake inducting above the manifold during the fast idle test. So Caffyns Brighton, MOT'd a misfiring car and when it failed the emissions test (surprise, surprise) then decided to run a fast idle test - is this incompetence to a new level? Cheers James

Hi all Unfortunately whilst having a fast idle test for MOT, some ducting in the engine ignited. It was put out quickly but I have sustained damage to the air intake ducting, feeder pipes, wiring and sensors. Now my problem is attempting to locate replacement parts - I have a complete list of what is required but no joy sourcing so far - can members here provide any clues? Cheers James
