  1. Not an option. Have car and engine and i can do the conversion myself. Plus how often do you see a corrado with no sunroof and factory aircon?
  2. Right my C was originally a G60. I want to put a VR6 lump and I have a few questions...:confused4: I know the subframe needs changing...thats sorted. I also know that the VR6 front crossmember is different to the one currently on my car... But as far as i can work it out I don't see a reason why my current crossmember and solid front mount wouldn't fit. Can anyone shed any light on this? Also bonnet wise... I have the 'normal' one. Would this shut with the VR lump in there? Is it possible to make it shut? ie. modifiy it somehow? thanks
  3. I've recently bought a corrado g60 LHD...(the one in my sig) It had a blown charger (the small belt snapped so the case cracked) but the car still drove. It has factory air con and no sunroof... The body isn't perfect but I paid £300 for it...and it has 260,000km on it. People are paying well over the odds for Corrados... There are many out there who are not owned by enthusiasts and those are the bargains... But if that car really has 190k on it...it aint worth what they are asking.
  4. fair enough mate....I enjoy my sounds too...and my ear isn't too bad either as I've got many hours of music production/studio experience.... I realised that fighting against the acoustics inside the car is fighting a loosing battle so i've decided not to throw too much money at it. But I'd defo like to have a listen to your system if we should ever bump into each other :D
  5. i think you realised that your car doesn't have an ecu relay as standard and you realise that you need one to start the engine ;)
  6. I've been doing a bit of reading about speakers (on various sites) and it seems common that 6x9s get a slagging off. They are criticized for being the wrong shape to produce optimum sound waves, distortion etc.... After listening to a few in-car systems using 6x9s and others using top quality components I made a choice as to what to spend my money on. I bought a pair of Sony 3 way 6x9s (which are thought to be the worst speakers ever) for £40 and I haven't looked back since. They run straight off the headunit. While on paper they may not be that impressive, but put it in practice......consider inside a car which has all sort of surfaces at all sorts of angles....suddently all that theory becomes irrelevant. for what i paid, i couldn't be happier.... and the chav link is totall crap...... don't chavs have momo steering wheels and lowered suspension? does that mean we shouldn't do that? sorry for repeating what's already been said.....just thought i'd share my experiece on the subject :)
