On the back of the shells: 71589600 STD and 30161 On the box: PL 77 213 600 STD

I'll check when I get back from work on the shells themselves for some numbers - I got them from GSF (GSF Part Number 16193C). They are KS bearings by the way.

Hi, I'm looking for a quick bit of advice on the big-end bearing shells on a G60 PG engine. I have read numerous recommendations that Mk3 Golf TDI Big-End bearing shells are a good "upgrade" to the standard G60 shells. I have picked up a set of the TDI shells but they don't have an oil hole in them. Is this correct? As I know the current shells in the engine do have them. Any help much appreciated Cheers Adam
