i guess what i'm trying to figure out is can i buy a car in Germany, register it there and drive it into the UK? I would export the car back to canada in March so can i keep it on German plates? Can i insure a car in the UK on german plates? how long can i drive in the UK on german plates?

i saw that one....i've asked the person for more pictures and info days ago but he's not replied.....

it all come down to the better buy....if i come across a good deal on an M5 than so be it....same for the S2....becasue i'm looking for a LHD my choices are limited.

if i were to get the M5 it would be the 3.5...the 3.8 came out in 93 i think....which means it can't be shipped to canada..

i've been doing some research and the S2 parts shouldn't be too hard to come by....alot guys in the U.S have converted their Audi Coupes to S2's....and plus....the web makes getting parts a breeze nowadays

i would rather import a car that can't be bought in canada....it'll make me the coolest cat on the block!
