Hi all, I'm looking to get a full retrim in leather for the C. Used MJ on my Mk1 Cab was really pleased with results but bit pricey for me now. I've looked on the WWW for other trimmers and all seem to be in Yorkshire or there abouts. I don't fancy driving all that way again, so can anyone recommend a trimmers in the southern regions as close to Swindon, Wilts as possible. Or a company who collect and deliver. Looking for quality at affordable prices. So far been quoted betwen £995 and £1700!! Cheers guys

I would say no they don't fit, as the scirocco frames were used on my Recaros that were fitted to my Mk1 Cabriolet. I believe the Corrado seats should use the Golf Mk2 frames. Call MJ Interiors and speak to Junior. He sourced and fitted my frames and should be able to advise correctly. http://www.mjinteriors.co.uk.

When you say excess steam, do you mean coming from the exhaust like when you breath. As my C seems to push clouds out! Sorry to be thick, but does this signify?

Does the entire dash need to be taken out to change the valves then? If so, then it would be a good idea to just change the entire system so it doesn't need doing again.

I would probably understand Russian a little better ha ha!!! I actually did get that, many thanks gradeAfailure, I'll try and have a look at the ones I can probably do myself!! My roof tilts fine, but when I hit the button to slide it moves ever so slightly and thunks, thats all! Tilt is better than nothing, but I would like to get it to work properly. I just hope that the problem with the heating isn't the Matrix. As I understand it, that is a big, and expensive job.

Hi Guys My Corrado is a 1990 1.8 16v H reg and I have the following problems: Tilt but no slide on the Sunroof Heat but no movement to the wing mirrors Washer jet but no motion to the rear wiper Stereo that only plays from front left speaker until I turn a corner then they all work, until I go stright again! Cold air but no hot, well I get a little, sometimes, but it goes back to cold very quickly. Not a small problem in this weather, my kid is freezing and puts his coat on to get in and takes it off when he gets out!! My overall problem is that I am not a techy, so have no idea where to look or what to look at!! Any ideas of what the problems could be? Many thanks

The judder really was quite horrific Saturday, to the point where i couldn't face driving her on Sunday. But i had to use her today to get to work, and she was fine. by lunch time, she started playing up again, but not yet to the extent of Saturday.

My lovely new Corrado, which I was really pleased with has started to give me some mad judder (feels like the car is going to fall apart :mad: ) when i pull away slowly in 1st or reverse. I assume this means I need a new clutch? Does anyone have any idea what sort of price i will be looking at to get a new clutch fitted include labour costs? Cheers guys

Who's is the Rado in the picture frame at the top of the pages on here. It looks rather nice and I would really like to see some more pictures of it.

That is a bit strange, but I suppose I gotta get used to older car ownership! Thats what I generally put the problems down to as she is an old car.

I just bought my Rado (90 H) and I have one touch down on driver and passenger but not back up on either door. One odd thing, is that you can only operate one window at a time. So if I put down the both windows, I have to them one at a time, which is a bit annoying! I need to check the fuses anyway as the window tilts but doesn't slide, the rear wiper doesn't work and the right hand side speakers keep coming on and off. Don't think the heaters are working properly either! :roll:
