I'l get some pic's sorted this weekend, Hiya.. I was waiting in the waiting room at Stealth on Wednesday afternoon when you turned up to pick up your car and Vince said to me that you'd not seen the car since the start of the year.. so i'm guessing that was you then! I was going to ask whether you knew about this place but you were out on your test drive for too long and I'd headed off after settling my bill Sounds like you're happy with whats been done! Hi Jim, yeah the test drive was a long one after driving vans for the 12 months and getting back into a drivers car I wanted to just drive home and deal with the bill later. First time in 7 years my car has gone in a garage and I left with a bill !! That said I can recommend Vince / Stealth Racing very happy with all the work that has been done Cool. Ive seen this there the last few times my C has been fixed. Is your motor sorted now ?? sorry not been on the forum since handing the rado over to Vince couldn't deal with reading about VRs while mine was away

Hi All, Just to let you know I had the pleasure of picking the rado up from Stealth this week. Last November the VR engine was giving up the fight, bottom end was knocking like a goodun and I spent 3 months working out what I was going to do. After plenty of research and asking I handed the car to Stealth in Feb. The intention was a full rebuild with a few choice extras, Shrick Intake Mani / 268 Cams / 6 Branch Mani / Full Supersprint Exhaust System (No Cat) / LSD / 3.68 FD / Uprated Engine mounts / Alloy sump and the BMC I already had. Had major problems getting hold of 2.9 pistons and was on the waiting list at Mahl ?? originaly told I'd have them in March, which became July which became August and in August was told March 08.Sick of wairting and Vince recommend wossner H/C pistons so they were ordered and the rebuild was complete. Got a call from Vince on Tuesday to say it had failed its MOT on a sticking brake caliper which was promptly sorted and the car was ready to collect on Wednesday. :D :D Its great to have the rado back I have been driving all types of 5hit the last 8 months Ford Escorts :( / Toyota Hiace :( / Ford Transit :( Volvo S40 Auto :( and the most fun of all Suzuki Super Carry 1.3 rear wheel drive tin can like a tall mini and just as much fun around the corners. Just running the engine in so I am limited to 3000 rpm but still get the biggest grin just driving it again. Looking forward to the 2000 mile mark when I can take it back to Stealth get it mapped open the taps on the rollers and see how its all come together. Got some ARBs and Koni adjustable suspension sat in the front room waiting to go on so should have it all sorted in ready in the next few weeks / months.
