  1. Thats ok, did you manage to send it today? Sorry to keep going on but i've got the MOT next week and need the part. Cheers.
  2. Hi, I'm in desperate need for an idle valve for my corrado in order to get it to its MOT, so if anyone have known good spare knocking about to sell, let me know.:) Cheers all!!
  3. Where is the MAF located on the 2.0 16v? Yep the throttle cable is moving freely and correctly tensioned. Thanks for your help so far :)
  4. Hi I've just put my Corrado back on the road after 2 years off the road and now has developed a problem. The problem is kangarooing and sometimes it idles a bit high when its running at operating temperature and pulsates. I've checked the spark plugs and leads, idle valve, air intake and filter, fuel filter and unplugged variours sensors under the bonnet. I've also checked the lambda probe and none affects the problem. I've filled it up with fresh fuel too. Is the car stuck in limp mode? I can't use the throttle gently but if i stamp on the throttle it revs up fine. I've recently had the immobilser ecu replaced as it malfunctioned. The car always starts up and the idle good when cold. Please help!
  5. I took off the caliper and disc and put it straight with a pair of pliers. If I had no joy with that then new rotors would be put on. Cheapest method comes first.
  6. Bit of an update on this and I found the drivers side ABS rotor to be slightly bent so straightened it out, and gave the whole lot a good clean, and its now working.
  7. Well after a lot of faffing about I managed to trace it to the clutch release bearing.
  8. Yes there are 2 switches, One operates the light and the other operates the oil light on the dash. I know one is a whiteish colour (the one that sits further towards the engine). The other one is whats causing the problem the one i got from GSF was brown, should it be blue? :?
  9. As above really, I think i was supplied the wrong one as its just failed. There are a few to choose from all with different ratings. Its the 9A engine. The wire coming out is blue/black if someone could check Iwould be greatful, cheers. 8)
  10. Well I found out the warranty hadn't run out on the alternator, so I whipped it out and got a brand new 90 amp one in exchange for the 65 amp one and pleased to say its all fixed. Don't know what caused the original alternator to fail though. Cheers for your help as always its much appriciated. :)
