  1. Just to be clear, system uses the CIS system, pure mechanical setup.
  2. Hi all, I really hope someone has some good suggestions. Corrado, 16V, 1.8. Stood still for long period. Replaced both fuel pumps (where jammed), checked fuel filter (OK), calibrated the CIS so rather equal fuel in test bottles with the 4 injectors. When I start the fuel pumps, pressure builds up. Then I manually lift up the air flow plate, so some fuel is injected in the cylinders. Without pre-pressure the air flow plate moves rather easy, with pre-pressure a bit harder to open. I close the cover for airflow plate again, crank the engine and get a short start 1-2sec (until injected fuel is gone). So sparks is not the issue, it just dies on no fuel.... For some reason I believe the airflow plate is not lifted, as no additional fuel is injected during cranking. Cranked the engine with 1 injector in a bottle, and no fuel. Plunger in CIS is not stuck in my opinion... So I expect the airflow plate is not moving for some reason??? I also opened the Wur and temporarily left open (meaning no pressure on the disk but of course with connected fuel lines) so that the control pressure on metering head should be low, meaning richer fuel. Still wanna check the Cold start injector. Anyone has some idea's where to look further, running out of idea's....?
