HI again remember i though the head gasket had gone in my car! just got it back from the garage an its sorted they took the inside out of the thermostat but left the seal in tacked an it seamed to do the trick wot do u all think has it happened to any of yous :?:

Well lads think its going to have to be the BIG VALVED HEAD cos i know later down the line ill be looking more power :) Does the head come with a cam or do i have too use my old one :?: An would i have to get different injectors or anything else for fueling for the head :?:

Lads my heads in a spin now so do you think i should just stick to the cnc std head+cam an fmic kit an not bother going for the big valved head instead :?:

I know mate ive drilled&groved combo black diamond discs all round so should be ok!

Thanks very much lads now you have me champing at the bit to get my car back on the road rollon 2weeks or so!! QUESTION for everyone as im keeping the rest of the engine internals STD apart from the head an cam would i be wise ditching the cnc std head+cam an intercooler an just go for the big valved one instead an nothing else wot do you all think :?:

Hi all my g60 is booked in to get the head gasket done at the start of the month,So was chatting to darren the other day an have decided to go for the (CNC STD HEAD +CAM AN HEAD GASKET KIT) an maybe a FMIC aswell.With the mods i have at the mo are as fallow (STAGE 4 SUPERCHARGER 68MM PULLEY,CAP&CHIP, RSR OUTLET KIT,FILTER, FULL SS EXHAUST AN A CAT BYPASS PIPE) Could anyone tell me wot bhp an torque figures i should roughly be seeing :?: cheers simon...... :)

s**t sorry mate i forgot to say the reason it was in the first time! the housing at the side of the block had a hairline crack in it to so i had it replaced to an the cap f****d to so i got euro car parts to send me one but it was blue would this make any difference mate :?:

Had the car in about a month ago getting new cap(blue?should it not be black?) two new sensors put on an new coolent but most of witch has gone mate!The car has started to splutter a little on start up but after about 30sec it runs sweet as a nut! Hi all ive big problem hope its not head gasket! When i start the car an let it heat coolent is being forced out of the water bottle cap! I have it in at my local garage an they have noticed water leaking at the front of the engine were the black an blue switches are located tight to the block could this be wots causing the coolent being forced out? Also could it be the water pump sticking or the thremostat on its way out? Can you buy the pump or thremostat seperate an were at please? cheers simon.............

Did you save much money doing it that way mate?I see jabba do a kit for around £600 a little out of my price range!If you dont mind me asking mate were did you get the pipes? Its just i wouldnt know were to start+was the intercooler hard to come by :?: 8) cheers simon

Not to bad mate but i was sort of expecting a lot more BHP but the torque seems ok,Wots yours putting out?I see you have a front mount intercooler fitted is it a good mod?Do you get much more power form it+are they hard to fit :?: cheers simon 8)

Just had her out a run an took it to the redline 3RD an 4TH gear an it is showing 1910 on the MFA mate :!:

Ive checked all the pipes bar the intercooler mate!Would i be best to take off the front bumper an take out the intercooler an give it a good clean?Also is it a big job to do so?Im all new to the g60 engine as ive been a VR6 man for the past 4years so any help would be much appreciated cheers simon :?: :?

hi again was trying some of the switches in the engine bay this morning,Do you see the switch that is half way along the intercooler to the throttle body pipe i took it off an it didnt make any difference wile the engine was running!Could there be somthing wrong with the switch?cheers simon :?: :)

Silencer box is that wot the rsr kit replaces its just i have one of them fitted mate! :) wot about switches could they be the problem of losing power :?:
