  1. Is that the correct hose ? Or did you route it differently because the CC delete ? I still have my CC. The Vac hose should go right around throttle body or left ? Cheers and thanks for posting pics Heres a pic of my bay
  2. Can some one please post a pic of a RHD Corrado G60 Vac hose (536 612 041 A) that runs from inlet manifold to brake servo ? I have installed a G60 motor in my Golf GTI MK2 and need a RHD Vac hose to fit correctly. I am located in Australia and without being able to view this hose I would need to know if it would fit correctly before I order it from the VW dealership. Thanks
  3. Thanks for the reply, can you or someone post a picture please ? I have not seen it before out here in Oz so I am not exactly sure where the mount points are. Cheers
  4. Can someone point out or post a pic on a G60 motor how or where this water pipe is mounted ? Is my pipe bracket bent ?
  5. Doing a RHD G60 in MK2 GTi conversion with no ABS brakes. Can anyone provide pictures of their Brake Servo Vacuum line to the intake manifold ?
  6. Look like no one knows that answer to my initial question about the loom. Possible try another forum ?
  7. Do the G60's use the TCI-h or is it within the ECU ? I also find the G60's ECU doesnt fit in the ECU bracket/holder as the heat sink is larger and the vacuum connector is sticking out.
  8. I have an engine wiring loom from a 89 G60 Corrado. I am installing the G60 engine in my 1990 8v Digi2 Golf GTI. The loom that leads up to the ECU has 2 seperate wiring connectors in parallel that I dont know where they go. My Digi 2 also has 2 connectors different to the G60 loom and I dont know how to retrofit the G60 loom into my car. Does anybody know these connectors and what they do ? The G60 loom below (the 2 connectors I am questioning) The Digi 2 loom below. (1 connector goes to the transistorized ignition circuit mounted on a heat sink on the ECU bracket holder)
  9. Does any one know why the intake manifold gasket has a bigger ring between the 3rd and 4th cylinders ? Its in the way of a bolt hole. In the picture above its showing 2 different types.
  10. So if I use the existing heat shield, which I hope fits I should be safe from the heat deteriorating the surroundings near the headers ? I cant see the point of putting heat wrap when you buy a nice polished stainless header  I do have the Vibra-technics all 3 motor mounts. Is there much difference between the headers for right and left hand drive cars ?
  11. Does the original manifold and down pipe not give out as much heat as the stainless header ? Would ther be much horspower gain over the standard setup ?
  12. Any one heard of the brand "Raceland" in Germany. I have a set of stainless headers with a tag on them saying "Raceland" Seem to be like a copy of the Supersprint headers. Are they any good or should I stick with the original exhaust manifold from the G60 ?
  13. Some reasons are better than none  You say you just put the correct seal, does that mean you got just the O ring or the sealant as well ?
  14. Yep, the red goo. One other thing, the locking cover got powder coated. Is that a problem ?
