Fastfuzz

I'm new to Corrado's and vw's but i just bought a corrado for very cheap but the engine is down a couple of holes and the syncros in the tranny are gone..anyhow I was wondering what tranny the corrado uses? is it specific for the corrado or are there other vw that share the same one ie. GTI???
