ok cool, is there a version of oil like engine oil 10w40? as i will proabably be getting it from a motor factors or GSF as i get trade discount.

i have a 2.0 16v box that im using for my mk3 golf 20vt conversion, but i dont know what type oil to put into it and how much to use. any advice is appreciated. will a corrado shifter fit my mk3 tunnel? looking at my mk3 shifter and tunnel, in the centre of the tunnel and in front of the shiter(from inside the car) is a threaded bolt/bar that protrude into the car and is bolted down onto the tunnel, (im not sure if this bolt is attached to the shifter but look like it is) the mk3 shifter is still on the car and the corrrado shifter doesnt have a central protruding threaded bar so im worried it wont fit or be the wrong the shape for the tunnel and mounting points.

ideally i want porsche callipers. there is a company up the road from me that will do the conversion for me for 800quid that includes porsche calipers, braided hoses, pads and discs and custom carriers. but i cant afford that at the moment, so if i could find a pair of front calipers od fleabay i would wait and just use the guys custom carriers.

bugger your right there but if i use the g60 callipers and buy vr6 280mm discs this should work possibly?

a mate of mine has a set of g60 brakes i can have which i would be looking to put on my mk3 but i need at least 280mm discs. does anyone know. I know the vr6 brakes are 280 - 288 mm but i cant find a reasonable priced set of them. cheers in advance.
