Its sourcing a decent Engine, Plus the costs ive been given to carry out a Turbo conversion to a VR6 is about £2k difference, they Company im using is voodoomotorsports.co.uk, They specialise in V-Dub conversions and said it was the easiest option for me as i can always put a super charger on later in life?

Hello!, My Engines messed up on my current Corrado, Ive spent loads on other bits bringing it back to life and didnt want to sell it after so many birthdays worth of money going into it, Found a Engine and bits at a really good price just wanted to make sure it had nothing missing as i was planning to put a normal 9A engine back in but wanted something with more grunt!

Hello Peeps! I need some help with a Conversion i wanna carry out in replacement of my 2.0l 16v lump to a vr6, so far ive got the Engine, Gearbox, ECU, Loom, Driveshafts, Wishbones, Subframe, Powersteering rack,nology hotwires?, and a piper x Induction. What else do i need other then the Brakes and suspension as the current brake discs and shocks are dead so they need replacing anyway!, Heard ill have to get a Downpipe which ive seen a used one but im not sure on what else is required!, Please Help! anything half decent looking.... someone told me the Calibra ones fit in but all you have to do is re-weld the rear clips to accomodate where they clip in... other then that i was thinking of re-trimming them but the qoutes ive got id need to sell my Kidneys on e-bay haha!

Hello People!, Need some help here please.... Does anyone know what other seats from what cars will fit into a Corrado which would need minimum work carried out to it?.... i have heard of people sticking in Leathers from Vauxhalls and someone else put in leathers from a Ford didnt actually state what ones though?.... having a Nightmare tracking down a clean set of Corrado ones and seeing what other options i have....... Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

Thanks for the Tips on getting the most out of the 2.0l 9A engine seems a better option, Having a Conversion is putting doubts and just thinking of keeping it all original now1, Will look into these options as i would be happy to get 200bhp or around that would make me smile. Dont want to sell my car that i have spent many Birthdays worth of money in restoring it! Thanks people! More useful tips in cheap but good options to boost my 9A engine would be very welcomed! :D

i had a similar problem and save your monwey and dont take it to a VW Dealer as they are Useless, My Mechanic found it to be the Coolant Temp Sensor if your facing the Engine its on the right hand side of the Engine block, Seemed to sort mine out a treat! Hope this helps!

Hello People!, Ive got a 2.0l 16v Corrado at the mo that has finally given up on me after a proud 178k. Was considering putting another straight forward engine in it but being a petrol head im looking for more power and you cant really do much with the 9A engine ( So ive been told! ) Seen someone selling a FSI Golf GT Engine, Seems to make no sense though if this engine would be ok for the corrado. Need some Help please with info on any recomendations to this possible conversion or another style engine that will take me over the 200bhp mark with as little to spend as possible! Thanks! :D
