  1. Hi they are indeed repair panels and not trim parts. Stonejag I will PM you re your e-mail adress and I can send you pictures - part No.s are still on the labels attached to the parts.
  2. Hi, i have had someone local to me who may well take them, but will let you know if they don't and they are still for sale. Not sure but the alarm sensor holes - but suspect they are - easy enough to check. They could be couried as opposed to posted - they are large.
  3. Hi I have both the off and near side genuine VW A Pillar panels. They incorporate the sill immediately below the A pillar as well as the edge of the windscreen and edge of the roof. I bought these aorund 4 years ago for a previous project. will attempt to post some pictures - otherwise PM me and I will happily e-mail pictures. Looking for £100 for the pair - happy to sell them separately. Collection only would be best - but happy to look at other options. Based in Warwickshire not far off the M40/M42
  4. i know them, they did a repair for me a few years back on our Audi. They made a nice job, easy to deal with. Had my raddo's done by Archie Dewar @ Peat Inn, was always pleased with his work, just took ages ! I will look forward to the pics.
  5. Hi Bill, change of colour ? who have you got to do the work ?
  6. Well done Bill ! i am bit too far away now to see you driving around in this one. Sounds like the run home was good.
  7. i know the feeling - its been 8 months now - its sad - i get excited when i see one now !

    Go-go

you can certainly take better pictures than me Joss ! Sunroof sounds a bit odd -never done that before. Have you checked the plug into the light/sunroof switch unit hasn't come undone. It had it disconnected when i replaced the headlining not long before it was laid up - maybe its come loose ? let me know if you get it to Bigger. cheers steve
  9. looking good Joss, but then I would be biased !! Missing it now I have seen it again. Sorry that there seems to be some issues with the brakes, but as you said, would be a surprise if there wasn't something after it been laid up for the last 6-7 months. I will watch with interest. cheers steve
  10. maybe that's why I would rather have the TT as my circumstances have changed and am having to sell my corrado - not to worried about practicality as it will be a second car so size not really imrportant. If I go for the TT was thinking of a 225 c.f 3.2 - what did you have ? could pick up a higher mileage one for not too much - anything specific to look out for in your experience ? cheers
  11. Will be looking to get a new daily hopefully at some point in the near future. thinking about a Mk1 TT, mk 4 R32 or Mk 5 GTI . my preference would be the TT. any thoughts / input appreciated cheers
  12. With our move South in a weeks time, and with the raddo unsold ( i am pleased about this - just dont tell the other half !) my parents have let me store her in their garage up North over the winter, until i hopefully get somewhere sorted for her at our new abode. I may still end up selling but we will see. Anyway had a great run on North on Monday. I wanted to see the sunrise in Drumochater pass as it is has always been one of my favourite drives particularly in the winter (guess i wont be seeing it again for a while). anyway thought i would take a pic - ~ 7.30am - stopped for a bit to let the washers defrost. car ran great. got a nice wash, dry and wax when we got there and got her tucked away. Just glad I had one last good blast in case she ends up going.

Hi I did get this sorted. The ECU was knackered. replaced it with a used one and problem solved. In fact it was running better than it had been - much smoother through the rev range.
