hi all. my heater matrix packed up last year... but I cam across this the other nite http://www.scribd.com/doc/228752/-corrado-vr6 wonder if its worth asking VW if they would do the fix needed for the recall? :?

ah well to late now!

all I know is its made by wurth not sure what its called. and its ment to be a permenant repair

hi guys how ya alll doing? getting better wether for getting the raddos out! I got my leaky matrix fixed. my local mechanic came up trumps. turnes out its a common problem on cars. he had this magic potion by wurth and let me tell you its worth every penny! only £40 for complete job.... it goes into your cooling system and its got a sort of solder in it that finds the hole and blokes it. making a permenant repair. and as far as I can see its held up goodo! got my brakes to do now and gotta replace my rad suppert xmamba thing. oh joy cheers for the pointers :thumbleft:

I mite have a look at the pipes you mentioned renson. I was going to get a m8 of mine to tow me coz I thought coolant would just piss out from mine to the garage but then I thought the water pump mite still be turning when im getting towed? bipassing sounds like a cool trick! cheers again

hi all! didnt know what section to put this one in thought either the interior or engine bay.. my problem is that last nit I got the corrado out of the garrage to give it a warm up before the summer. I let it run idling when I did the windows and when I had done the glass I jumped back in and turned the ignition off and noticed there was a green steaming liquid running down abouve the clutch and thought it right away to be the coolant. has anyone ever heard of this happening before? Ive got it booked in at my local garage but any pointers would be great! the joys of raddo N 8)
