i bought my g60 about 4 months ago and yes the engine mounts felt very weak. i replaced them with new oe items and they still feel weak! probably best to go for vibratechnics front mount as i will be doing soon. although this is a very expensive option. you can buy solid front mounts from someone on this forum but i beleive they cause a lot of vibration in the car. as for the3 boost return delete mod.. i just disconnected the pipes from the underside of the throttle body and the SC and made a blanking plate for the secondry inlet on the SC and put a small breather filter on the end of the ISV and one on the end of the cam breather. sounds awesome when in dumps excess boost but as the other guy mentioned it is noisey. hope this helps :D

hi all having changed the gearbox oil on my G60 for the vw g50 synthetic type my gear change has improved no end! however i have been told that it will benefit even more if i change the slave cylinder with a new resin plastic type. does anyone know the vw part number for this please? cheers guys

ok. the bolt heads are completely trashed so wont be able to put any other size bit in or over the heads. if the drill thing is easy to do then that is what i will do thank you very much for the advice all. i have owned and worked on loads of mk1s and mk2s but this is my 1st G60 and am a bit spooked by it all cos is quite a bit different!!!

hi all! please please please can someone help me with my seized bolt problem? i have only had my G60 for a few months and i bought it from scotland. i have all the service history but wanted to get the cam belt done just for my own piece of mind.when i removed the inner whell arch cover i noticed that the bolt heads were a touch on the oxidised side! when i put the allen key in the head of the bolts just crumbled. this really begs the question of how long ago was the cambelt actually changed last!!!! has anyone got any ideas as i am now left with a car i cant use! thanks guys :(

hi all i am in the middle of blanking the extra inlet on my charger and have bought 2 breather filters, 1 for the ISV and 1 for the cam cover breather. the problem i now have is what the hell do i need to do with the extra valve under the throttle body as this has a rather large diameter. please advise!!! thanks guys

hi all i was wondering if anyone has details of how to fit an oil catch tank to my G60 or maybe some pics. i want to block off the recirc port on my charger but not sure what to do with the breather pipes. i can make my own blanking plate in work and fit a small breather filter to the isv but just need advice for the crank and cam cover breather pipes. is it posible to do this without a catch tank? thanks guys

hi all i have a g60 with a moving engine when i dip the clutch. i presume it will be the front engine mount if it is anything like my old mk2 golfs. do you think it is likely to be this or something else? and if so can anyone suggest a good replacement part. im sure i will get my head around this whole corrado thing soon :? cheers

hi all i have switched off my engine with the MFA switch in the 2 position with my finger on the button and restarted my car, i have pushed the button 1 time to get the boost gauge but can anyone tell me what the other settings in this mode do please? thanks a curious golf301

hi all i have just collected my 1st G60!!! it drove me home from dunfermline to north wales really nicely. it is totally standard and everything works perfectly however having read the article on g60s on matey matey my boost gauge is reading 450-470 at idle and i dont think this is correct. can anyone advise me on what i should do please? the charger is reaching 1790 at the red line in 3rd gear so i think this is good for stock thanks
