  1. Good to know thanks! :) Found a servo from a 2.0 16v at a scrappy for £30. should pick it up this afternoon. A mate came round last night to give me a hand with my car, and we noticed that the passenger side brake pressure regulator was squeaking. Does this mean its faulty or just that there is air in the system? Should i have mentioned the car was parked up for a year before i bought it. Thanks for the help!
  2. Hi peeps Can anyone tell me if i can fit a brake servo from a 16v/VR6 to my 1991 G60 and does it matter if its an abs model or not? Part numbers would be great! :) Thanks D.
  3. Dr_Mat I gotta say you put a smile on my face! :D No ABS on this one. This problem was there before I bled the system. I changed the master cylinder straight after i hit a bollard, thinking that was the problem. Discs and pads were for good measure. But never made a difference. Whats this about the rear balance?
  4. Is it that bad or have I asked an embarrassingly silly question???
  5. Hi Lorns, Im not a corrado expert (yet ) but i had the same problem with my digi 8v. I gave the ISV a clean and reset the ignition timing and the problem disapeared. it was cheap and simple to do and it ran like a beauty! I would start by checkin over the ignition system!
  6. Forgot to mention in my essay that every time i press the brake pedal the engine note changes a tiny fraction?
  7. Hi guys, need some HELP! Bought my first corrado a month ago and like a new girlfriend shes making me work hard! :x While i was out and about the brakes decided to let go all of a sudden, but they werent great to begin with. luckily i was parking at the time, so minimal damage. :mad2: The brake system is not holding any pressure at all. i changed the master cylinder and put on new discs and pads all round, cleaned the calipers and pumped a load of new dot 4 through the system to get rid of the old stuff. The problem is that i pump the pedal it gets hard then as soon as i take my foot if it goes soft again. If anyone can help i'll be so grateful as its coming up to the end of the month and i dont want to miss any events! Cheers D

    Bad Signs?

Hi there this newbie needs some advice! I recently bought my first corrado after having a series of golfs. I found a G60 for under a grand and i love it! However i'm worried about the condition of the engine as it had a dump valve fitted (which i've removed) and other things wrong like the brakes. I am wondering if anyone can point out any signs or symptoms i should look for as i am still learning about this engine? cheers...
  10. Its not really the sound i want. The guy i bought it from just wanted something to show off in. he put the wrong back box on to make it louder. The front discs are to small so the top of the pads are not touching, and he put the dump valve on to draw attention. He really had no appreciation for dubs...
  11. It's def a dump valve. All my turbo addicted mate's say it wont hurt but then i thought i dont no any chargers running with a dump valve. Its better to be safe then sorry and chuck it out! Cheers :)
  12. Hi newbie here, I bought my first G60 a week ago. :D I've got a few bits to sort out so i'm going to need you guys. First off, it's been fitted with a dump valve. Should i get rid ???
