  1. You are a legend! Thanks.
  2. Managed to get them chief?
  3. Anybody managed to get these?
  4. Cheers, much appreciated that. Already got the fronts in, just need rears and a re-trimmers now!
  5. I was hoping / wondering if someone could either tell me or measure up a rear bench from their Corrado, one with a hump. I'm wanting to fit one into my mk2 polo saloon, and was kinda hoping sizes would be similar. Cheers in advance!
  6. Where the hell can I get some decent seat covers for my VR6? I've been searching for donkeys, no results, so I thought I'd ask the experts. Failing that, where can I get them re-trimmed on the cheap? Help!
  7. I've got a load of coolant in the pasenger side footwell (bizarrely behind the passenger seat) that's come from somewhere, it's not water, 'cos I've tasted it. Any ideas as to how it may have got there? Could this be where it's getting to somehow?
  8. Hi people, had my Corrado VR6 for a year and a half now (ABV), and recently had an oil leak from the oil pressure sensor on the oil filter housing, which I replaced and sorted the leak. Along with this I replaced the oil temp. sensor next to it. Since then, I have had a blank readout from the dash regarding oil temp (- ---). Which is worrying me, could it just be a break in the wire? Along with this, it's started drinking coolant like Ollie Reed at 4am, with no visible signs of leakage. No drips / leaks on the floor or in the engine bay, No white smoke, No lumpiness whilst running, No oil / water contamination. A few people have suggested head gasket failure, but I'd like to try to eliminate other potential issues without spendind a small fortune and stripping the engine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
  9. So it wont be the nuts eh? Which senders are they, and are they VAG only? Thanks, BTW.

    Oil leak

Hi guys. I have a Corrado VR6, and have an oil leak from what looks like from the nuts under the sensors on top of the oil filter housing. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, if it is common, and the best way to fix it, I don't wish to top it up every morning for the drive to work, as it's only a couple of miles, and around £5! Cheers
  11. Sorry, it's ABV VR6 (i think ABV, it's a 12v coilpack). Others have said it may ne the ignition pack. Cheers
  12. Hey guys, anyone had a problem with the cae continuing to run when ignition is switched off? First time it was quit amusing, as i had the key in my pocket and the car was still running! Second time has become annoying though. Have to stall to stop. Any advice or just a technical gremlin?
