Shame Ive just seen this post.
I have had the same problem on my G60 for 6 years. I changed the slave cylinder recently and that didn't cure it. I
reckon it needs a master cylinder change which is what I am going to try next. I have managed to live with mine though. Just force it out of gear, slip the foot under the pedal and lift and it springs back up. Right as rain after that, until the next time it happens.
I have posted similar posts in the past on this topic.
I hope you get some comfort in knowing that you are not alone! :?
Hi, I'm new in this forum... and that cluth problem is very common on corrados, not only in G60 (mine), but also in 16v... first, as the car was running ok, i ignored the problem in roder to save money... but some weeks later, the problem turned worse, as i couldn't switch the first gear. that was ok driving on open roads, but very uncomfortable in urban drives... when, i was about to change the slave cylinder (as i was adviced)... then the car couldn't switch the second also, and the third was turning almost impossible... I was driving on a 800 Km travel, and as i arrived home i had to park the car in the workshop... the problem was solved changing the master cylinder, wich is in the pedal.
Currently, tha car is ok, except for that cold morning when the car did the same for about 20 minutes... but that's all... didn't have any proble with that since then
