Thanks for the advice guys, Mick, maybe you have the answer, I don't think its the imobiliser as I often leave it unlocked, the starter motor was replaced recently, guess will all electrics checked on 2 garage visits, maybe its the battery Any body else got any ideas. all the best Badger

Hi I 'm new to the forum, but have been a member of the CCGB and have rejoined. I am being forced to sell my beloved, due to the problem of when the engine is hot ,it will not start for up to 2 hrs after switching off the engine, depending on the ambient temperature. It will start however up to 5 minutes after switching off, but after that nothing, the lights come up, but no turnover, no clicks, just deadly silence, its been to a specialist garage twice now and a lot of money has been spent to no avail, starter motor was changed. Has anybody out there got the answer, as I cannot drive anywhere and park up for an hour etc Badger 07867 522662
