theblueflash replied to Timbo's topic in General Car Chat
probably no chance of me seeing it all the way down here in hampshire but i'll keep my eyes open. sorry to hear its been swiped. never understood it really. especially as they can be had at pretty reasonable price nowadays. still theres always some scum who will try it. take it the alarm wasnt that effective? ive got a damn clifford on mine and i cant get in or out of it without the bloody thing going off!!! seriously hope you get it back in one piece. :( -
rado shocks, same part numbers for entire range?
theblueflash replied to theblueflash's topic in Drivetrain
might be best to check with vw on the year and model just to be sure. thanks for the info. -
possibly a stupid question but are the shock absorbers the same across the corrado range. my instinct tells me no as the vr in particular is heavier but worth a shot. there's a valver in my local scrappy and with the possibility of having to sell my vr and many people liking the standard standard setup (providing they're in good nick) would be a nice find. cheers

cheers. will prob get round to that this week. found a valver in a scrappy near me so may strip some bits off that inc. the blower if she's knackered. thanks for the advice :D

i cant seem to find a topic on replacing the heater blower motor. mine squaks like a good un and id like to take it out and either service it or replace it. many thanks

hello mate. loving your commitment to the corrado. looks very nice. just wondering, where did you get the chrome locks and door pins from? need to fix the mechs on my doors as they are stiff/crap and these would be a nice addition.

sorted. for now. kind of convinient having that allen key. managed to wind it in so its shut. the problem looks to be the piece of the mech that slides along. it doesnt engage when its on full tilt so the roof doesnt close. managed to push that back along and use the allen key to shut it completely. thanks for the tip. :D

well its partly my fault. recently picked up a corrado and been messing about witht the roof. i knew it didnt slide but i tilted it and now it wont close on one side. the slide moves on the drivers side and shuts but the passenger side doesnt move at all. i tried locking the car hoping the closure system would shut it but it just locks the car with half the roof tilted up!!!! is there any way of getting the damn thing shut without any massive work? i dont have time to properly repair it for a few weeks and am stuck if it rains. any help much appreciated. many thanks
