I have one of these kicking around from a 928 I had... Is it a direct Corrado swap? Or do you need modification/a boss? Any help/advice appreciated! Cheers!

Hey! Apologies for an incoming flood of novice questions regarding my newly acquired 90 spec 1.8 16v :D I have a problem with my courtesy lights... They switch on and off ok (rocker positions 2 and 3), but when you switch it to position 1 (ie the setting which turns them on and off when the doors are open), it is just permanantly dimly lit? It's as if there is a bit of voltage leaking down the earth somewhere? Has anyone had this before? Could it be an issue with the switch itself? Or door switches? Or a fault in the loom somewhere? Not a big problem but I would like to repair it! Anyone got any common pointers before I waste hours of fruitless fault finding? Cheers!

Thats what I would have thought but it's just been replaced! (it wouldn't be off a mk2 or something would it? Slightly different part no or something? :confused4: Any other ideas as to what I could check?

Hey everyone! My fan catches on the engine mount in front of it on my 1.8 16v which results in a horribly embarrassing racket at traffic lights etc! Is this a common thing? Anyone know of a simple fix before I start ripping out and reseating my radiator etc?? Cheers!

I'll have to do some fault finding on the sunroof then (although I'm not too fussed, but it would be nice if I could fix it) When I say the 3 pos thing on the heater, I mean on the switch itself I only seem to have three clicks instead of four? The blower motor wants replacing anyway but I am wondering if the switch is off a mk2 golf or something and it's worth getting a new one to replace it with?

Here we go... I have a couple of basic questions about various things to do with my 1990 1.8 16v. I have searched but not found anything. Heater switch - It says there is 4 positions but mine only seems to have 3? Sunroof - Goes up but not back, although when you press the back of the switch the sunroof moves slightly? Is it meant to tilt/slide? Or just tilt? Thats all I can think of for now but any advice appreciated! Cheers!
