thanks for the replys baiscly i have brought a seat leon doner car so i have got the engine and box from that and put it into my c. everything is fitting ok just the driveshafts seem too long? didnt know if any one else has had the same problems or know how much to shorten the shafts by? thanks chris

hi i am doing a 1.8t 6 speed conversion i have got it all bolted in but i am finding problems with the drive shafts being too long has any one got any info on this thanks chris

thanks for the comments guys heres a rundown of what the c has been through its started life as a red kr corrado about 1 year ago then i started too rip it apart and start the build i was lucky it came with full leather interior which was a good start it was stipped down to a shell with the glass out for a full respray i plastic welded parts into the bumper to smooth of the front indicators then plastic filler then some primer i then got it back to my drive where i got all the pannels back on and started the rebuild process i sourced an abf engine with everything to go with it ecu wiring keys etc and put it in and got it all running i also had to get the corrado vr6 wings for the wide track and a vr6 buldge bonnet so the engine would fit. i then got board of the engine and wanted something different so i: i aslo got wide track running gear of a mk3 vr6 and the 288mm callipers and carriers with all new goodridge hoses and drilled and vented ebc discs. it got an mot as of last week and is now on the road to got to get on the rollers see what the carbs can do? as for the front indicators there led strips in the headlights now just to hide them.

has any one put the abf in there c? i did have a kr in mine put since it has been painted i have put the abf in with the mk3 wireing loom which pluged straight in to the fuse box but it only turns over and the fuel pump isnt pumping any ideas to why this is cheers chris

the old ones were well past there best they were all falling apart. this car has been sitting in my drive for 6 years doing nothing just decided to bring it back to life but its taking some hours. but should be well worth it when its done well miss driving the rado
