Hi Kev Thanks for your reply I have bypassed the wiring loom from the ecu to the injector just to be sure as I was thinking the same. I wish it had been as it would have been an easy fix. I think it must then only be the ecu, I am getting 12 volts on the wiring to all the injectors, then when connected to the injectors the voltage drops to 0 volts except for no5 which stays at 12 volts an keeps the injector pumping constantly. Do you think it should show up on vag-com? I will give vince a try on monday Thanks Dave

Hi Henny, Thanks for the reply I have run VAG-COM and it is not showing any fault codes, The car is running fine on the other 5 cylinders. Tearing my hair out here as I just can't figure it out.

Anyone know of a vr6 being broken anywhere? Thanks

Hi all I am having some problems with my storm, the no5 injector is staying open all the time(ie spraying continous), I have tried another injector and its the same, I have also bypassed the loom from the ecu to the injector and still the same so that leaves me with the ecu beign at fault. Can the ecu be repaired or am I better trying to find a secondhand one? any other ideas? Thanks in advance Dave
