Its certainly heading in the right direction to becoming that diamond. I must be getting old because my ideas are purely stock but as new, similar lines to the way yours is heading i reckon. I think these will become popular with collectors before too long so original ones will be sought after. How are you finding getting parts? are most bits still available or heading the same way as mk2's now with soo much being obsolete? Also had a scary insurance quote on a vr, how did you find insurance prices? Ash

Hi ladies and gents Been a viewer of the forum on and off for a while so thought i'd register and say hi I'm Ashley, live in Maidstone, kent and currently on the look out for a tidy stock VR I use a couple of other popular forums so recognise a few names and faces from here already. For those who do not know me, i've been into vw's for about 10 years now ever since i started driving in a mk3 polo. I currently own a mk3 golf station car,stock 70K mile mk2 golf gti which is a long term resto project. Also i own a 6n polo with a 331bhp 20vT lump which has been an ongoing project car for about seven years now. With the arrival of the kids (one 2 years the other 6 months) time for toys has ben drastically reduced and the polo has sat in the garage for nearly two years now! Anyway thanks for reading, looking forward to swatting up on the good and bad points of corrado ownership in preparation for hopefully joining the club Ash
