Ahh cool. It looks good. Advice? Well you probably know this... but get a Bentley. Also try to familiarize yourself with what parts you G60 shares with other models (theres alot of MK2 golf in that car). This helped me - have a habit of treating yourself with buying tools. Just a few every other payday, here and there. after a while you'll have a great tool set-up. It makes working on cars SOOOOO much easier when you've got the equipment.

Ehh.... heres a couple more. This was taken 2 Sundays ago: Pulled it out to do the chains, water pump, Mkiv headgasket upgrade and a cleaning. Ive had the car for 10 years. It was in storage for 7 or 8. I just finished it (licensed it anyway) 10/11. Put 1400 miles on it than the pump went and the chains were just starting to make some noise. It was alot of work. I did everything myself, well except the paint. Hopefully it will be driving this weekend.

Just wanted to say hi. Ive got 3 VW's. The one that brings me here is a MK2 GTi with a 'rado vr swapped in. The motor, dash and entire suspension is all corrrado basically. All but the rear axle came from the same 92 model that was in rear end collision that resulted in the car being totaled. So in a way the car lives on.
