-
Could you PM me too Please, late VR style needed.
-
Wanted. Late drivers door and all red rear lights finished to a high standard. Postage required for both items. TIA
-
Thanks folks. Yeah, unfortunately it's been sat outside the whole time but she's still looking good. It will need paint and a freshen up again but once it's running I'll try to keep it inside. Unsure whether or not the front bumper will stay or not. I might fit the OEM one again. We'll see how it pans out.

You could try and see if this guy will post to the UK. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222074050353?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Your door latch mechanism will be stuck down in the down position inside the door. It can do that when you try to open the door with it locked and it then gets stuck if its old. Mine was like that for years! You'll need to take the outside window trim off and try and fish/lift the latch back to the operating position. Once its up, unlock the car with the fob and try again.

Warning, Thread Resurrection coming! Well, hello chaps, I thought I would pop along seeing how I've spent some quality time with the Rado for the first time since 2007! It's been sat at my mothers house and not moved, apart from a failed MOT attempt in 2009. Now, as you can imagine, there's been a fair few folk ring my mothers door bell and beg her to have me sell it but I will be keeping this car forever. I tried to open the doors a few years ago but they wouldn't open from either the handles on the outside or the inner. 12 quid on ebay saw me buy an Endoscope for my Android phone a few months back, thinking at the time, "That'll come in handy one day, I'll buy it for the toolbox" So a few weeks ago, after removing the window seal and 3 mins with the endoscope and a screw driver, I finally managed to get into the car using the doors! Yay! I've since bought heaps of mechanical bits to get her road worthy again, I so need to get the old girl going, wish me luck !

I spoke to Roddy not long ago and he would sell it. He wants a 635CSI but finding a mint one has been almost impossible. PM him.

This would of been a great excuse to get the ol girl out for a run. Shame I'll still be stuck offshore.

So good to see this car getting the treatment it deserves. Well done lad. As for the wheels, I'd stay silver ever time. Are the 7's wide enough for you? -
I would say don't expect the Cerb to be used as a daily driver. If you want that go for a Rover V8 based Chimaera or Griffith. Cerbera's are great cars but the AJP or even worse the Speed Six isn't very reliable.

Ha, i know, heaps of Turbo Nutter VR's kicking about now. Still have most of the bits to do it lying in the garage. Might just do the 24v on a O2A box or put the LS1 into the Corrado with a Haldex Rear... :evil laugh: I'll definitely get the Rado back on the road one way or the other, it still looks great today.
-
Wow, i can't believe this thread is still here. I haven't driven the Corrado properly since returning from Inters 07 ! I'm thinking it's gona have to come back out to play in 2010 though. The Bora is still sitting in my mums garage and i've since gone off the idea of turning it into a 24v 4x4 Turbo, I ended up building a V8 Mazda RX7 instead.
-
Mine is still on the go. Should be getting it MOT'd after being off the road for almost 3 years. Still haven't started the 4x4 or 24v conv and i doubt it'll happen now...
-
I haven't been on the forum for a long time and its great to see your car still going strong and better than ever! Cracking Corrado you've built there lad.
-
No no no, its not allowed !!! If you paint it Oak Green you'll have to move to Englandshire... !!! My Rado is still here and the 24v conversion has taken a back seat lately. Think the Bora i have hidden away will be getting stripped down and all its running gear will be going into a MK2 Golf instead. The TVR will be leaving in the spring to make way for a LS1 engined V8 RX7!!! Weapon. I've promised myself the Corrado will be coming out to play again in the summer but im going to keep the engine standard and bubble wrap it for my grandchildren.
