Working methodically its about working on 2 different areas.

1 moving the condenser and engine bay gubbins is very easy. Its like Meccano.

2 The under dash area is where is gets interesting. Presuming you have the Diavia set up this all needs to come out and thats where the fun and games start. The electric’s will be take them out and put them back into the new car in the same way. They are both RHD?

I think Mr Renshaw will be able to advise if the dash needs to come out.

Okay,

This is where it gets a little leading edge. The internals from the LHD AC Unit can fitting into a RHD AC housing from a MKII I think. I dont think this has been done. + 2 new hoses and it should all fit. Mucho work though.

You have got to find some one willing to do it. As there is no garuantee its going to work/fit this is going be hard unless you do it yourself.

ETKA lists the housing but is it still available? When I checked about the smallest hose in the system (about £20 worth) VAG wanted £350 + VAT. So you could get snookered just by the cost of the housing.

I'll post part numbers etc tomorrow night. The you'll have to break the LHD as you wont have the bits to re assemble with a heater.
